On Thursday (12.12.2024), during her visit related to the activities of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, MEP Agnieszka Pomaska met with EU Commissioner for Budget and Public Administration and Anti-Fraud, Piotr Serafin.
The discussion concerned the upcoming Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
– Together with Piotr Serafin, we are moving swiftly towards the Polish Presidency of the EU! The Polish Commissioner is responsible for the most important area – the EU budget. During his hearing as a candidate for the European Commission, Piotr Serafin announced, among other things, the simplification of procedures when applying for European funds and greater flexibility in the budget.
