On Thursday, 5 December, a delegation from the European Parliament headed by President Roberta Metsola met with Speaker of the Sejm Szymon Hołownia, Speaker of the Senate Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, leaders of parliamentary clubs, chairpersons of the European Affairs and Foreign Affairs Committees of the Sejm and Senate, and the heads of the Sejm and Senate Chancelleries.
Chairwoman Metsola’s visit to Warsaw was in connection with preparations for the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, which will begin on 1 January 2025. The meeting was attended by the Chairwoman of the Sejm’s EU Affairs Committee, Agnieszka Pomaska.
