Parliamentary diplomacy and relations with the U.S. Congress remain a cornerstone of transatlantic ties.
During the Atlantic Council roundtable at the Munich Security Conference, Agnieszka Pomaska emphasized the importance of the U.S. military presence in Poland and Europe for the security of NATO’s eastern flank.
She noted that trust in the United States has declined in Poland, pointing to uncertainty around support for Ukraine and the long-term U.S. commitment to European security.
Pomaska also highlighted the EU’s growing role in security over the past four years, including investments in defense, energy security, and efforts to counter hybrid threats.
She underlined that strong transatlantic ties remain essential and should be reinforced at every opportunity.
