„I vow to you!” Grand march on June 4 in Warsaw.

Almost half a million people took part in the march initiated by Donald Tusk. Crowds of Poles marched through the streets of Warsaw to show their opposition to the current PiS government. The event kicked off as scheduled at 12 p.m. The route of the grand opposition march led through: Square at the Crossroads – Three Crosses Square – Krakowskie Przedmieście – Castle Square.

– You know why today you, wonderful people, wonderful Poles, wonderful Poles, are participating in the biggest democratic event, in the history of democratic Poland. Because there are half a million of us on the streets of Warsaw today, an absolute record – the PO leader said.

– You have been told for 8 years that it doesn’t matter who is in power. PiS is not bad, Jaroslaw Kaczynski is a completely normal politician. Why was this so threatening? This is how the worst moments in Polish and European history were born. Every day, week and month, evil is spreading in our country, and still there are advocates who say: nothing like this is happening, we have nothing to worry about. I want to tell you: we have something to worry about, we will. Evil is happening, and we will win against this evil on October 15 – the PO leader continued.

The march was also attended by MP Agnieszka Pomaska, who commented on the event on Facebook:

– Ah what a #marsh4June it was! Thank you for all the fantastic meetings along the route. See you at the ballot box at the latest!
