On Wednesday (May 17), Chairwoman of the Pomeranian Parliamentary Group MP Agnieszka Pomaska met with students from East Tennessee State University and Dr. Michele Crumley in Gdansk.
The conversation was dominated mainly by topics related to the upcoming parliamentary elections in the fall and foreign policy, especially on the Poland-US affairs. ETSU students were also interested in the role of women in Polish politics and public sentiment related to migrants fleeing the war in Ukraine.
Gdansk is one of many stops on the journey of a group of several undergraduate students to Poland and the Czech Republic. The course they are taking focuses on politics, history and culture. The ETSU students heard a lecture at the University of Gdansk on politics in Poland, and at Jagiellonian University on Polish security and foreign policy.
