On 10-11 June 2015, approximately 61 heads of state or governments are expected to attend the second EU-CELAC summit in Brussels. The summit will take place at the Council under the theme „Shaping our common future: working for prosperous, cohesive and sustainable societies for our citizens”.
Discussions will focus on bi-regional and global issues, including:
- the strengthening of the EU-CELAC cooperation,
- the promotion of a shared identity and common values,
- citizen-oriented initiatives in terms of innovation for sustainable growth, education, security, and climate change.
