Meeting with Ambassador of Malta and Latvia

The President of the Parliamentary European Union Affairs Committee Agnieszka Pomaska met on February 5, staying in Poland Ambassador of Latvia Ilgvars Klava and Ambassador Pierre Clive Agius  from Malta.

Interview with the Ambassador of Latvia was dedicated to, among others, adoption of the Euro by Latvia. At the beginning of 2014, Latvia joined the euro area countries. Latvia is now one of the 18 countries of the European Union with the same currency.

The meeting with the Ambassador of Malta was about the problem of illegal immigrants in Europe and the current situation in Ukraine. Malta for many years is struggling with a cultural siege of people wanting to get into the European Union.
