Weimar Triangle parliamentary leaders meet in Krakow

The EU future, European Neighbourhood Policy as well as Common Security and Defence Policy will be discussed by the presidia of the Polish Sejm, the French Parliamentary Assembly and the German Bundestag in Krakow on Friday. The meeting, chaired by Sejm Speaker Ewa Kopacz, will focus on the planned reforms of the Economic and Monetary Union (EMU) and moves designed to increase competitiveness, economic growth and employment, the Sejm chancellery press office reported on Thursday. The Weimar Triangle was established in 1991 by the then Polish, French and German foreign ministers.
