Agnieszka Pomaska participated in a parliamentary delegation visit to Oslo organized by the Warsaw Security Forum, dedicated to strengthening cooperation between Poland and Norway. The meetings took place at a particularly significant moment, as Norway is set to become the partner country of the Warsaw Security Forum 2026.
The delegation was led by Zbigniew Pisarski, President of the Casimir Pulaski Foundation. Its members also included Deputy Speaker of the Sejm Krzysztof Bosak, Deputy Chair of the Polish-Norwegian Parliamentary Group Paweł Bliźniuk, and Deputy Chair of the Sejm Committee on European Union Affairs Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk.
The first day of the visit featured meetings at both governmental and parliamentary levels, including discussions at the Norwegian Ministry of Defence, the Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee of the Storting, and with Norway’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Espen Barth Eide.
The talks focused on further deepening the strategic partnership between Poland and Norway, enhancing military cooperation, and reinforcing their shared responsibility for security in the Baltic Sea region. Other key topics included the future of transatlantic relations, continued support for Ukraine, and maintaining pressure on Russia.
The discussions also addressed threats to maritime security and critical infrastructure, including the activities of the so-called “shadow fleet,” which is used to circumvent international sanctions.
Participants emphasized that close cooperation between Poland and Norway remains an important pillar of regional security and a key contribution to building a stable Euro-Atlantic future.
