The European Commission has approved the SAFE programme for Poland, which provides for approximately PLN 190 billion to strengthen the country’s defense capabilities and overall security. This represents one of the largest initiatives supporting the development of Poland’s defense capacity.
The decision of the European Commission was communicated during Agnieszka Pomaska’s visit to Madrid, where she participated in meetings במסגרת the “United for Ukraine” initiative. The discussions also involved partners from the Baltic States, who emphasized the importance of Poland’s actions for the security of the entire region.
During the meetings, it was stressed that strengthening Poland’s security has a direct impact on the stability of Europe as a whole. International cooperation, solidarity, and joint investment in defense remain essential in addressing contemporary challenges.
