A conference devoted to issues of parliamentary democracy and the legislative process in the context of the dynamic development of artificial intelligence was held at the Sejm of the Republic of Poland on 13 October 2025 in Warsaw. The event brought together representatives of the Polish Parliament, experts, and delegates from European institutions.
The conference was opened by Daniel Milewski, Deputy Chair of the Delegation of the Sejm and Senate of the Republic of Poland to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, who in his speech emphasized the need to seek a balance between technological innovation and the protection of democratic values.
The meeting was also attended by Agnieszka Pomaska, Chair of the Delegation of the Sejm and Senate of the Republic of Poland to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and Member of the Polish Parliament. In her address, she highlighted the importance of European cooperation in regulating artificial intelligence and the necessity of conducting a broad public debate on the impact of new technologies on democratic processes.
