The summer session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe is underway in Strasbourg – a forum where parliamentarians from across Europe debate human rights, democracy, and the rule of law.
MP Agnieszka Pomaska, Chair of the Polish delegation and Vice-President of the Assembly, is taking part in the proceedings.
The session’s agenda includes, among others, discussions on support for Ukraine, the state of the rule of law in member states, and threats to democracy stemming from disinformation and external interference. MP Pomaska is actively participating in plenary debates and working meetings, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation and solidarity in the face of current challenges.
The Assembly’s deliberations are another opportunity to strengthen Poland’s position within the European community of shared values.
