On Sunday (14 July), MP Agnieszka Pomaska was a guest of editor Konrad Piasecki in the programme ‘Kawa na ławę’ on TVN24. – All doubts regarding the law decriminalising abortion aid were dispelled during the legislative work. I feel cheated by Roman Giertych – before the elections, he declared a different opinion,” said the MP about Friday’s vote on decriminalising abortion.
– I am grateful to the PSL MPs who voted in favour. I know they did not have it easy. This law was about making women feel safe. I do not understand the decision of the PSL MPs, I hope they will change their minds yet,” Pomaska added.
The programme also touched on the assassination attempt on former US President and Republican Party candidate for the post Donald Trump.
– The attempted assassination of Trump will certainly have an impact on the outcome of the US election, but I wouldn’t prejudge the situation just yet. It calls for condemnation from all of us. It is good that this very serious incident did not end tragically,’ commented Agnieszka Pomaska. – I remember that when the murder of President Adamowicz happened TVP Info stopped ratting only for a moment. The court later ruled that Kurski’s TVP was morally responsible for the tragedy. Now is the time for reflection in the States, but I fear that in a few days the old language will return to the public debate, she added.
