At the beginning of today’s three-day meeting, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe has commemorated the memory of the Major of the City of Gdansk Pawel Adamowicz with a minute of silence.

„He was known for his attachment to the values of tolerance, openness and living together of different cultures, just like his city,” said the chairman of the Assembly, starting the debate.
