On Sunday, 16 January 2022, Andrzej Stankiewicz in the programme '7 Dzień Tygodnia w Radio ZET’ hosted the following guests: Jan Kanthak – Solidarna Polska (Solidarity Poland), Agnieszka Pomaska – Civic Platform (Platforma Obywatelska), Tomasz Rzymkowski – Law and Justice (Prawo i Sprawiedliwość), Marek Sawicki – Polish Peasants’ Party (Polskie Stronnictwo Ludowe) and Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus – the Left (Lewica).
Mandatory vaccinations for teachers will cause unnecessary unrest – said Tomasz Rzymkowski, Deputy Minister of Education and Science, in the '7. Dzień Tygodnia’ programme in Radio ZET. Asked about the consequences of Superintendent Nowak’s statement, who called the COVID-19 vaccines an „experiment,” he said that „a conversation took place.”
On Friday, 13 of the 17 members of the Prime Minister’s Medical Council on COVID-19 resigned from advising the government on the outbreak. In a statement, they wrote, among other things, that the decision was made due to the „lack of impact of the recommendations on real action” and the „exhaustion of previous cooperation.” (…)
Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus from the Left party said that 'there are no courageous people in the government. – I am horrified by the indolence and disregard for so many victims,” she added. Agnieszka Pomaska of the Civic Coalition said that members of the Medical Council left in protest against the denial of vaccinations by Superintendent Barbara Nowak, who did not lose her position.
