EPP leaders to meet for Summit in Brussels ahead of European Council 19.12.2013, written by Biuro Poselskie Agnieszki Pomaskiej
The President of the Parliamentary European Union Affairs Committee Agnieszka Pomaska have been invited to participate in the upcoming Summit of the Party, which will take place in Meise, Brussels, on 19 December 2013.
EU heads of state and government and opposition leaders of the European People’s Party (EPP), along with the Presidents of the European Council and the European Commission- Herman VAN ROMPUY and José Manuel BARROSO – will be present in the upcoming Summit of the Party. On the agenda will be the preparation of the European Council, scheduled for 19 and 20 December.
The EPP is the largest and most influential European-level political party of the centre-right, which currently includes 74 member-parties from 39 countries, the Presidents of the European Commission and the European Council, 12 EU and 4 non-EU heads of state and government, 13 members of the European Commission and the largest Group in the European Parliament.
