Agnieszka Pomaska participated in a panel discussion organized by the Aspen Institute as part of the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 (URC 2026) in Gdańsk. The debate focused on the future of Ukraine’s economic integration with the European Union and the development of a long-term strategic partnership between Ukraine and the EU Member States.
The discussion explored the transition from the current model of assistance to Ukraine towards a framework based on investment, deeper economic integration, and the development of a shared market. Participants emphasized that Ukraine’s experience in resilience and innovation represents a valuable asset for the future development and competitiveness of Europe as a whole.
The debate provided an opportunity to exchange views on advancing a safer, stronger, and more integrated Europe, while highlighting Ukraine’s role in shaping the future of the European community.
