Agnieszka Pomaska participated in a panel discussion on the role of parliamentary diplomacy, held as part of the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC) in Gdańsk.
The discussion brought together parliamentarians from Poland, Ukraine, and Sweden to examine the importance of interparliamentary cooperation in strengthening European security, enhancing the resilience of democratic states, and supporting Ukraine’s reconstruction and its path towards membership in the European Union.
Participants emphasized that parliamentary diplomacy is playing an increasingly important role in fostering international partnerships, building mutual trust, and developing coordinated responses to the challenges affecting Europe’s security and stability.
The panel formed part of the broader programme of the Ukraine Recovery Conference, which brought together representatives of governments, parliaments, international organizations, and leading experts from across Europe and beyond to discuss Ukraine’s reconstruction and long-term integration into the European community.
