‘Economic or security relations are not fun’ – meeting with the German ambassador.

On Wednesday, 22 January this year. Agnieszka Pomaska, Chairwoman of the Sejm’s EU Affairs Committee, held a meeting with German Ambassador to Poland Viktor Elbling.

‘Polish-German relations during the PiS government were part of Kaczynski’s political game. However, economic or security relations are not a game. With our neighbours, it is worth looking for a field for cooperation and an ally in matters that are important to us. But also to demand it. During my conversation with the Ambassador, I raised, among other issues, the introduction of border controls by the Germans and the need for their greater involvement in supporting Ukraine.’ – MP Pomaska wrote on her Facebook profile after the meeting.
