Poll: What do Poles think about the Constitutional Tribunal?

61% of respondents think that the Constitutional Tribunal is currently a body dependant on decisions and actions of others – according to the latest poll carried out by Kantar for „Fakty” TVN and TVN24. According to 20% of those asked, Poland’s constitutional court is an independent institution.

In a survey carried out by Kantar for „Fakty” TVN and TVN, the respondents were asked the following question: „In Your opinion, the Constitutional Tribunal currently is…”

20% of those asked picked the answer: „a body independent from decisions and actions of other institutions”.

The answer „a body dependent on decisions and actions of others” was chosen by 61% of respondents.

19% picked the answer „don’t know/hard to say”.
