Ukrainian President spoke at the solemn meeting of deputies and senators in Polish Parliament. In addition to the special speech of Polish MPs, Petro Poroshenko also listened to, among others, President of the Republic, members of the government and representatives of the diplomatic corps in Poland.
Ukraine signed the political part of the Association Agreement with the European Union on 21 March 2014. In contrast to the signing of an agreement on the establishment of a free trade area, cooperation in the field of economy and justice and home affairs took place on June 27. At the end of last month – November 28 this year. – Diet expressed statutory consent to ratification by the President of the Association Agreement between the EU and Ukraine. December 5 this year Senate approved the ratification bill without amendments and passed it on to the head of state for signing.
