During the 5th edition of Campus Polska Przyszłości, MP Agnieszka Pomaska took part in a discussion on Polish-Ukrainian relations.
The discussion focused, among other things, on who benefits from the current Polish-Ukrainian dispute, who is fuelling tensions and why, and how the growing tensions can be overcome.
The discussion addressed difficult issues related to the shared history and the emotions that continue to affect relations between the two nations. At the same time, participants stressed the need to look to the future and focus on what unites the two countries.
In the face of shared challenges and threats, it is particularly important that the difficult history does not overshadow the common interests of Poland and Ukraine, or the importance of cooperation for the security of the entire region.
