Agnieszka Pomaska visited Polpharma SA, one of the leading pharmaceutical manufacturers in Poland and a significant player on international markets. Originating from the region, the company has for years expanded its global presence, supplying medicines to numerous countries while investing in advanced technologies and research.
The parliamentary group meeting focused on the role of enterprises of strategic importance to the state. Particular attention was given to how best to respond to the needs of patients and the healthcare system, while ensuring high standards of safety also in the context of national resilience and the broader defense system.
Discussions also addressed the challenges facing the Polish pharmaceutical industry, including the need to strengthen global competitiveness and expand domestic production capacity.
