Some of the most advanced vessels and offshore structures in Europe are being built in Gdynia. During her visit to CRIST Shipyard, Member of Parliament Agnieszka Pomaska had the opportunity to see first-hand how Poland’s shipbuilding industry and offshore wind sector are developing.
CRIST has more than 35 years of experience and 550 completed projects. Today, the shipyard is expanding its operations into the offshore wind sector, including the construction of service vessels, cable-laying vessels and offshore transformer substations.
During the visit, MP Agnieszka Pomaska toured the construction site of a substation for the BC-Wind offshore wind farm, the first project of its kind to be delivered in Poland on a turnkey basis.
It is precisely in projects like these that shipbuilding, energy and security come together today at a world-class level.
