Agnieszka Pomaska took part in the 27th World Congress of the Kashubians, held this year in Gdynia. The event was of particular significance, as it coincided with the city’s centenary celebrations.
The gathering provided an opportunity to highlight the importance of Kashubian heritage, culture, and identity in the development of the Pomeranian region. Participants also celebrated the 100th anniversary of Gdynia, a city that, within just a few decades, evolved from a small Kashubian village into one of the Baltic Sea’s most important ports and a symbol of modern Poland.
For many years, the World Congress of the Kashubians has brought together members of the Kashubian community from across Poland and abroad, promoting the region’s rich cultural heritage and strengthening ties among Kashubians worldwide.
