Between 28 September and 1 October, the Council of Europe session was held in Strasbourg with the active participation of MP Agnieszka Pomaska.
The debates addressed key issues concerning security in the Baltic Sea region, with particular attention devoted to the activities of the so-called shadow fleet and the environmental risks associated with its operations.
During her visit, MP Pomaska held a series of bilateral meetings, including with the Swedish delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and with representatives of the Free Russia Foundation. The discussions focused on current challenges in the region as well as opportunities for enhanced international cooperation.
In the plenary debate, MP Pomaska delivered an intervention on the rule of law, highlighting the issue of evading criminal responsibility under the cover of immunity.
