Signing of EU acts by the Polish Presidency 14.12.2011, written by Biuro Poselskie Agnieszki Pomaskiej
On 13th December the signing ceremony for further EU legislative acts adopted during the Polish Presidency took place in the European Parliament in Strasbourg. Taking part in the ceremony were President Jerzy Buzek on behalf of the Parliament, and Minister Maciej Szpunar on behalf of the Council.
The acts signed include EP and Council Regulation amending Regulation (EC) No 1931/2006 as regards the inclusion of Kaliningrad area and certain Polish administrative districts in the eligible border area (2011/0199 COD) and the initiative on the adoption of European Parliament and the Council directive on the European Protection Order.
