Theresa May is the new 76. prime minister of Great Britain.
Appointed to this position by Elizabeth II, gave the official speech at 10 Downing Street, which indicated that it will continue the path of brexit, so exit the UK from the European Union. The aim of the second ever female prime minister of Great Britain is to strengthen the economy and mitigate the crisis which now enters the country. Her charisma is likened to Margaret Thatcher.
Theresa May was born on 1 October 1956 in Eastbourne. On the British political scene has been around for over twenty years. She belongs to the Conservative Party, which was the first female chairman of the party in 2002-2003. Since 2010 she was interior minister in the government of David Cameron.
